The Andes mountain range splits into three branches in Colombia, providing the most diverse terrain for riding your bike, from snow- capped mountains to hot and humid river valleys.
Arrival to Medellín International Airport (Code: MDE. Name: Jose Maria Córdova) where our staff will wait for you at the gate, help you with your luggage and drive you to your place of staying along with your bike, gear and biking buddies.

Embark on an exhilarating single-day enduro adventure with us as we explore the mesmerizing El Cairo trail system nestled in the heart of southern Medellin, Colombia. Prepare to be captivated by the rugged beauty of three thrilling trails spanning 8.8 km, boasting an impressive elevation loss of 1,839 meters. Get ready for an unforgettable mountain biking experience unlike any other.
This 3 km singletrack descent features a 622-meter elevation loss and is renowned as one of Medellin’s finest trails. Beginning at 1353 meters and ending at 798 meters, it includes a modest 70-meter elevation gain, ideal for mountain bikers seeking a challenging yet manageable ride. Located in the Santa Barbara municipality of Antioquia department, this trail offers stunning vistas and diverse terrain, including grasslands, rock gardens, root-filled paths, and pristine creeks.
This 3.8 km singletrack trail promises an exhilarating descent of 662 meters of elevation loss, meandering through verdant grasslands and captivating sub-Andean jungles. Spanning from an elevation of 1453 meters to 802 meters, riders will experience jost a 10-meter elevation gain, making it an optimal choice for mountain bikers seeking a blend of technical challenge and moderate intensity. Situated in the Abejorral municipality of Antioquia department, the trail offers awe-inspiring views overlooking the Buey River Canyon. Anticipate encountering expansive grasslands and dynamic rock gardens with seamless flow.»
Prepare to embark on an adrenaline-fueled adventure on our short yet exhilarating singletrack trail. Spanning a mere 1.9 km, this trail promises an intense descent of 546 meters elevation loss, weaving through picturesque lush grasslands. Starting at an elevation of 1346 meters and culminating at 816 meters, riders will face a modest 18-meter elevation gain, adding to the thrill of the ride.
Nestled in the Santa Barbara municipality of the Antioquia department, this trail offers unparalleled views of the majestic Buey River Canyon. Prepare to be mesmerized by the breathtaking landscapes as you navigate through the diverse trail. From challenging steep sections to smooth-flowing segments, this trail has it all.
Santa Fé de Antioquia is a colonial town by the Cauca river that sits at 500 meters above sea level (1640 feet), located 60 kms (37 miles) west from Medellín and full of summer houses with swimming pools. It’s surrounded by mountains
as tall as 2600 meters (8530 feet) which means plenty of epic downhill trails are found in the area. From all of them, there are 3 that happen to start at the same summit with stunning views and desert-like conditions. Enduro national races have been hosted in this trails and even during rainy season, these trails still offer predictable riding conditions.

Today we will take an air transport to the department of Quindío. A tourist department that offers us beautiful cultural and gastronomic scenes. And of course, the best trails
The «Los Nevados National Natural Park Trail» follows a historic route used by mules and horses, which is earning international acclaim for its 22.3-kilometer length and staggering 2,394-meter of elevation loss. This is the Colombia’s longest mountain bike trail.
In the early morning, we’ll depart from Manizales by car towards the central mountain range near Nevado del Ruiz, locally known as “Páramo de Letras”, situated approximately at 3800 meters above sea level. Here, our biking adventure will commence on unpaved paths, traversing a unique ecosystem of the tropical Andes where, with some luck and keen observation, we may spot wildlife such as the Andean Bear, Andean Condor, and Bearded Helmetcrest Hummingbird. Following a few kilometers, we’ll embark on one of Colombia’s most thrilling descents: the Los Nevados National Natural Park Trail, affectionately dubbed “El Desquite Trail” by local riders. Stretching 22.3 kilometers and an elevation loss of 2,394 meters, this trail is renowned among Enduro MTB (All Mountain) enthusiasts for its challenging terrain through lush Andean forests and grasslands. Descending from 3711 to 1756 meters, riders will encounter exhilarating obstacles and breathtaking scenery along the way.
This bike day is an incredible ride that perfectly mixes bike park-style Enduro trails and All-mountain-style Natural trails. In addition, it allows us to know the true essence of the Coffee Cultural Landscape. Declared a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. Our day will start touring the best trails in Neira. A small and beautiful coffee municipality near Manizales. The community of local riders in the area have created trails themselves that will take the adrenaline to the limit! Then we will pedal a bit on some roads and rocky paths that will take us to see the most beautiful landscapes of the Cauca River Canyon with natural trails that will once again test our ability on the bike.
We will close with a flourish. We will finish our ride with two of the most famous trails in the country: “Bisoño” and “El Infernal”. They are tracks that have been the scene of numerous national Enduro MTB and downhill championships.
Our Enduro MTB adventure will commence with the first trail of the day, named ‘Venteaderos‘. This thrilling 2.43-kilometer singletrack has an elevation loss of 361 meters through lush Andean cloud forests and tree plantations, offering an exhilarating Enduro mountain biking experience amidst breathtaking natural surroundings.’
After completing the Ventiaderos trail and eating some snacks, we will ride for 5 minutes to our second adventure, ‘La Selva trail‘. This 3.6 km singletrack descent boasts a 587-meter elevation loss and takes you through the enchanting understory of Andean forests and pine plantations. Be prepared to tackle entertaining rock gardens and root-filled sections along this remarkable trail.
The scenic 2.8-kilometer Waterfall Trail meanders through verdant coffee farms and pristine forests. As riders descend 743 meters of elevation loss, from 2012 to 1568 meters, they encounter exhilarating challenges along the way. The trail concludes at two breathtaking waterfalls, offering opportunities for a refreshing swim and tranquil restorative moments amid nature’s splendor.
After finishing the Waterfall Trail, we’ll embark on a 20-minute ride in search of El Castillo’s hilltop, which marks the beginning of our third adventure of the day, the ‘Parapentes Trail.’ This trail offers an exhilarating 4.7-kilometer singletrack experience, with a descent of 743 meters through lush coffee plantations and sub-Andean natural forests. By sure, this is the trail with the best panoramic views of the coffee region of Quindio department. This trail starts at an elevation of 2257 meters and ends at 1567 meters near to the city of Calarca and Armenia. Prior to commencing our descent along the Parapentes Trail, we’ll have the opportunity to meet with a local peasant family who will graciously treat us to a cup of their region’s finest coffee and a traditional breakfast.
Following the ride, a delectable lunch in a traditional local farm awaits you, serving as a well-deserved reward for successfully tackling the day’s cycling challenge. This satisfying meal will not only refuel your energy but also provide a delightful cultural culinary experience that complements your adventure.
On this thrilling enduro day, you’ll conquer three extensive and exhilarating trails situated in the pristine highlands of Salento municipality, nestled within Colombia’s picturesque Quindio department, part of the UNESCO-listed Coffee Cultural Landscape. These three trails are known by the local mountain biking community as the ‘Nieblas Trail‘ , ‘Alegrias Trail’ and‘La Patasola Trail’, these trails collectively span an impressive 15.6 km and boast an elevation loss of 1,852 meters.
Explore the thrill of enduro mountain biking in Salento, Colombia, on an adventure that begins in the town’s main park, where you can taste a traditional coffee from local farms. We’ll then hop into a 4×4 vehicle to ascend the Central Mountain Range, reaching an elevation of 3,050 meters (10,006 feet), the starting point for our exhilarating journey on the «Nieblas trail».
This 3.9 km singletrack trail boasts a 514-meter elevation loss, weaving through Andean jungles and tree plantations. Before starting to descend the Nieblas trail, we will meet a peasant family who will share with us a typical breakfast of the region.
The end of the Nieblas trail marks the start of our next adventure on the «Alegrias trail», a 5.8 km singletrack descent with a 791-meter elevation loss. Widely regarded as the best trail in the Quindio department, Alegrias offers breathtaking vistas and diverse terrains. Expect to encounter grasslands, rock gardens, root-filled paths, Andean forests, tree plantations, and pure creeks as you traverse this remarkable trail.
The 5.9 km La Patasola Trail winds through the picturesque village of «Boquia and Cocora,» featuring a notable 547-meter elevation loss from 2263 to 1817 meters. With 90% of the trail immersed in the Natural Andean Forest, riders experience a dynamic MTB ride through this well-conserved natural haven. The trail concludes at a stunning waterfall, offering a perfect spot to relax and celebrate the end of this day of Enduro adventure.
After the ride, if you so desire, you’ll have the chance to immerse yourself in the culture of Salento. You can wander through its colorful streets, discover its local crafts and meet its lovely inhabitants. In the village, a delightful lunch awaits you, serving as a reward for conquering the day’s cycling challenge.
