Sergio, an amateur rider hailing from Colombia, was molded amid the picturesque hills of Manizales and the rugged terrain of Los Nevados National Natural Park. His enduring passion for mountain biking ignited at the tender age of 11, setting the course for a lifelong journey. The realm of Mountain Biking (MTB) became more than just a sport for Sergio—it evolved into a profound connection with nature and wildlife. This potent bond served as the catalyst for his academic pursuits, leading him to delve into biology and wildlife conservation. Sergio’s commitment and skill in the sport were validated when he claimed the title of national champion in Cross Country Olympic (XCO) in the Juvenil category. As of now, he seamlessly transitions between the realms of Cross Country and Enduro, displaying his versatility and prowess.
Today, Sergio’s undivided attention is directed towards curating and overseeing Mountain Bike tours within Colombia’s coffee region encompassing Manizales, Salento, and Medellin. Additionally, he serves as a seasoned guide, steering mountain riders through the awe-inspiring expanse of the Andean region in Colombia. His journey—from an avid young rider to a dedicated operator and guide—stands as a testament to his unyielding passion and commitment to the world of Mountain Biking.

The story of Simón and his bike passion began when he was only 19 years old. During those first semesters of university, while immersed in his studies of Industrial Engineering, he stumbled upon a mountain bike passion that he could never have imagined would take him so far. Undoubtedly, this MTB hobby quickly transformed into a burning flame within him.
Throughout his trajectory as a mountain biker, he pedaled tirelessly, covering distances that defied imagination, exploring new horizons, and living experiences that he only dared to be dreamed of. He traveled paths and trails that pushed him beyond his limits and left his mark in national races of enduro, achieving commendable positions that reflected his dedication and effort.
In the year 2018, in a turn of events that only life could choreograph, Simón embraced a dual identity: on weekdays, he was the impeccably attired engineer in a refined suit and tie, while weekends saw him morph into an intrepid cyclist, donning a helmet and jersey, pursuing his passion with resolute determination. Taking a daring leap into uncharted territory, he decided to plunge into the realm of entrepreneurship and breathed life into «Trail Hunters.» From that point onward, this enterprise has thrived as a pivotal cornerstone in the exhilarating realm of «Mountain Bike» within the breathtaking landscape of Colombia’s Coffee Region.
Juliana, a Colombian biologist with a deep passion for travel, culture, nature, and adventure. In the mountain bike world, she has found her calling as a cross-country and gravel enthusiast. This unique combination of interests naturally led her to become an integral part of the Trail Hunters Team, being our logistic manger. Her face lights up with immense joy as she turns ordinary bike tours into extraordinary, unforgettable experiences. Juliana’s dedication shines through in her meticulous attention to every detail. She is the queen of details. As a cyclist, you can trust her to curate your journey through the breathtaking Colombian landscapes, all while ensuring you feel as comfortable as if you were in your own home.
