What an amazing ride! Thanks Trail Hunters Colombia! Going on a business trip to Manizales, I took an extra day to MTB. I wanted to ride a natural, enduro oriented trails. Got in touch with Trail Hunters Colombia and they put together an epic one day ride. We did the whole El Desquite! Very well organized, from breakfast to dinner! I started planning this ride with Trail Hunters months before! Great communication via WhatsApp, we fine tuned all details, we met in Manizales the evening before the ride to make sure everything was ok. Great experience and highly recommended! They know the area, the trails, etc. they will take care of you from the beginning til the end! Manizales is the “capital” of enduro MTB in Colombia! Trail Hunters have several options for any skill level and time! Can’t wait for my next ride there!

The ride is an absolute epic one. The landscape you get to see is amazing aas you go through beatiful nature and aggresive trails if you choose to. The time went endless as I was having tons of fun. The crew is really dedicate and the give the extra for you to have a great time. Thanks guys

We found Trail Hunters online and inquired – we were so impressed with the amount of guidance and attentiveness over email before the trip, answering all of our questions about the tour and the region in general. We did 2-days of downhill riding (w some climbing) on mountain roads and singletrack. The countryside is so scenic, passing through small communities, dogs and kids playing – high up on ridges descending into lush valleys. A huge highlight was the hosts along the way, stopping into people’s houses to be welcomed with a cup of coffee and food – learning about their lives, with Simon to interpret. We started our second day up near an active volcano, watching it go off a bit before descending 10+ miles. Hotels were top-notch. Meals were delicious. Rental bikes were great – glad we didn’t need to brings ours to Colombia. Thank you to Simon, Paula, Giovanni and all of the awesome hosts. If you’re thinking about a trip with them — do it!

My experience with Trail Hunters was amazing. I contacted them to enquire about doing two days of Downhill and Single Track and they definitely delivered. Paula responded to me super fast with all the relevant information of the trails and what would be included in the package. When I arrived in Manizales Simon and Paula met with me at my hostel the day before to discuss the plan for the following day of riding. Simon was my guide. The first day we rode the bike park in town and then a few other trails close to Manizales. The trails ranged from technical downhill to flowly fast trails and all the way to single track through coffee plantations. The second day we drove out of Manizales to ride some of the big name trails and again these were downhill, technical, flowy and single track. We also done an amazing scenic enduro ride with a climb to a beautiful mountain ridge and rode through little villages and coffee plantations and then descended the other side of the mountain. They saved the best until. The two famous trails El Infernal and El Bisono these 2 trails are the real deal. Steep, fast, flowy and with huge jumps and big features. Definitely my favourite part of the two days was riding these two trails. Epic. Most of the trails we rode get regular maintenance from the local biking community. On both days after riding we stopped for a traditional Colombia lunch. During the day we also stopped for various snacks and drinks throughout the day at different locations. Paula and Simon were very professional and are great hosts. If you are thinking about booking a ride with these guys don’t think about it, just do it. Totally worth ever dollar. 👌🏼

Soy español y he viajado hasta Manizales para montar en bici. Contraté a Trail Hunters para poder montar en una de Enduro/DH. El guía es un profesional de la bicicleta y como monitor es aún mejor, te ayuda a bajar sin tener ningún tipo de problema, siempre teniendo en cuenta el nivel de cada rider; este solicita que nivel quiere de bajada y escoje entre las diferentes opciones propuestas. Me llevó a una finca bananera donde pude disfrutar de las más exquisitas frutas que he probado nunca, y después también me llevó a comer a una hacienda cafetera donde pude disfrutar de las mejores vistas y de un almuerzo típico estupendo. Resumiendo, es el mejor downhill y enduro personalizado que he probado, es como pedir a la carta en un restaurante el mejor plato y que te salga justo como lo deseabas, solo que en este caso en lugar de un plato de chef te llevas una experiencia física completa, digna de recomendación.

Llegué a los cazadores de senderos para un viaje de dos días en bicicleta de montaña de inmersión completa en el área de Manizales. Me gusta planificar mis viajes en detalle y luego seguir el flujo del día. Paula y yo nos conocimos antes para planear el viaje. Me encantó tanto la atención a los detalles como la flexibilidad para planificar el mejor viaje para mí. El primer día lo tuvo todo: desde escaladas desafiantes hasta senderos de flujo escénico sencillos y senderos para bicicletas con saltos y caídas. Un segundo día de puro enduro, que abarca desde senderos naturales ásperos, jardines de rocas y senderos de zanjas súper divertidos hasta las pistas de descenso más famosas de la zona. El camber especializado 27, 5 provisto fue la bicicleta perfecta para hacerlo en este viaje. Por supuesto que sufrió un poco en los senderos cuesta abajo. Si está planeando un recorrido puro de enduro / descenso, tal vez piense en traer su propia bicicleta. Aunque, realmente recomiendo no perderse los senderos de montaña de la zona, ¡impresionantemente hermosos! ¡La guía de Simon fue genial y Paula siempre estuvo allí apoyando con su hermosa sonrisa! Por último, pero no menos importante, ¡la comida y todos los gustos de la cultura local colombiana fueron increíbles! Recomiendo también alojarse en su hostal, excelente ubicación! Como guía de ciclismo, debo decir que estos muchachos son verdaderos profesionales y ofrecen una experiencia de bicicleta de montaña de alta calidad.

We have been riding with Simon and Paula for three exciting days ! All was very well organized and it was a great mix of getting to know local people , trying local delicious food and good riding experience 🤗 the bikes were extremely well maintained. They are really kind and take good care for you , the bikes , food and overall fantastic experience ! Highly recommended 👍🏻🤗 thanks again !

We had 3 wunderfull days in Manizalles and the area around. Everything was well organized by Paula and Simon. For lunch/dinner we had good food and the possibility to get in contact with local people. The bikes are in good shape. They managed to change my brakes to Motostyle easily. As this company is only 2 years we are looking forward to them growing in the next years. We will follow on Facebook. High recommendation from us Thx Falk

El viaje partió siendo una experiencia única desde que aterrizamos en Pereira y nos recibió Sergio y Simón. La buena onda, el conocimiento y el profesionalismo de los guías te dan la tranquilidad para disfrutar todo el viaje. Fuimos a Nevados del Ruiz a hacer la ruta El Desquite, donde los paisajes, la naturaleza y la ruta misma son inolvidables, fue muy entretenido y duro a veces, pero a eso íbamos y fue mucho más de lo que esperábamos. También hicimos un trail de Salento, donde se realizan competencias de downhill, uff ahí si que conocimos el nivel de esos senderos. Trail Hunters no fue solo una excelente experiencia de MTB, fue mucho más que eso, también fueron unos muy buenos guías turísticos , conociendo lugares y tour gastronómico, aprendes mucho de la cultura y de los lugares. En resumen totalmente recomendado (you rock guys!)

Our experience with Trail Hunters and Simon was excellent. He came to our accommodation with the bicycles, water bottles and some snacks and off we went into some very nice paths through the coffee region near Manizales. He was attentive to make sure no one is left behind and everyone can follow at their pace, pausing whenever needed. He took videos of photos of us with his own camera but also with ours. We really felt that he tried to tailor the experience to our preferences and he had a positive and friendly attitude from beginning to end. The scenery was nice along the way, we saw some parrots flying by, the uphill part was challenging and the downhill part was certainly fun.

Had a beautiful day with Simon from Trail Hunters who is a wonderful host along with his partner Paula. Had a chance to spend the day riding in the mountains enjoying quaint fincas, a coffee tour (delicious coffee tasting included ) and getting to know the city of Manizales. Their gear is awesome and Simon is very flexible at adjusting the day to suit your needs. Well organized, felt safe and well looked after. Highly recommended!

El recorrido que hice desde Manizales con TrailHunters fue la mejor experienza que tuve para visitar la región cafetera, atravesando plantaciones de bananos, caña y café, descubriendo unos pueblitos hermosos perdidos en las montañas. Los guías son muy buenos para explicar y acompañar durante todo el esfuerzo, muy profesionales y muy amistosos. Gracias por trasmitir su pasión!!

Trail Hunters es la mejor opción de la región para todos los viajeros que lleguen a Manizales y eje cafetero y quieran vivir una experiencia única de MTB ajustada a las necesidades y condiciones particulares. El día de hoy me regalaron una experiencia inolvidable.

This was an unreal mountain bike tour in the Manizales area. Simon was our tour coordinator, bike guide, translator and awesome guide for the area and culture. Two days of downhill riding on mountain roads, singletrack trails, and all over the countryside with a support truck ready to pick us up when needed. This was the best way to get to know this area and the people there – we stopped each day and ate lunch with a local host. I highly recommend Trail Hunters for an adventure filled mountain bike tour in this beautiful region.

We did the mule trail, which was quite challenging but very nice! The area is beautiful, you really get to see the coffee area. Simon and Paula have everything perfectly organised, including transport, and nice meals and places to stay. Very recommended for the ones who like a high level mtb challenge but also want to enjoy!

Ride here and you get an EPIC experience.The landscape you get to see is amazing as you go through the forest plus aggresive trails if you choose to. Today I had an unforgettable cycling experience thanks to Trail Hunters. They prepared a route that was completely adjusted to my wishes, needs and physical condition. Simón and Paula are super professional in their work, they were attentive to me all the time and showed me some wonderful routes and landscapes. If someone wants to go through the coffee region and do a MTB, DH, Enduro or recreational route, Trail Hunters is the option.
